About me
My name is Kim Wiebe Mann, and I am a mom of three. I am a Red Cross Certified Water Safety, CPR/AED Swim Instructor and coach. I have been a competitive swimmer since age 9, Olympic Trial Qualifier, four year varsity Collegiate Division 1 Swim Team for Miami University in Ohio, Mid American Conference Champion in 50 yard and 100 yard freestyle. In 2023 I was inducted into the Miami University Athletic Hall of Fame. I have 30 years of teaching experience and currently teach in Farragut and Lenoir City pools year round indoor and outdoor, as well as an indoor endless pool.
I teach every age and every level private (one on one) and semi-private (you and a buddy) swim lessons and will customize your lessons to meet your goals. I instruct very beginner, water safety, swimming efficiency for exercise and rehab, all four competitive strokes, turns, starts, and diving.
I have coached the summer league GKAISA swim teams, The Lenoir City Bettas, and Tellico Village Tarpons, as well as fall/winter/spring indoor competitive kids swim groups which includes groups of pre-competitive and competitive swimmers, ages 5-16. I have also coached the masters swim team, The Tellico Village Silver Tarpons, ages 18 and up.
I do personal water workouts for clients needing non-impact full body conditioning and strengthening, or rehab after injury, and customize to meet the individuals needs.
